Graduates text intro…
Aaron attended Starcast classes for five years and was the Starcast Dance Company Captain. Here’s what Aaron had to say about his time with us:
“Starcast has made me into the person I am today! When I joined at aged 11, I never thought I would be where I am today, training at such a prestigious dance school to make a career out of performing and I have Starcast to thank for that.
The commitment, love and support from every single teacher is unbelievable, it’s such an amazing place. Not only have I learned performing skills I’ve learnt many life skills and has made me happier and more confident in myself as a person which is so crucial for life, whatever career you choose!
It’s over a year since I’ve left and I still miss the Starcast family so much and feel so grateful that I can come back to teach and see everyone.
I will be forever grateful for what Starcast has given me throughout the years, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Emma Dearden was chosen to perform in a professional pantomime last year at Wilkes and this year she successfully auditioned for the P & O Cruise Ship “Azura”. We wish her so much love and luck on her first job as a featured aerialist and dancer on this fabulous Cruise Ship. Here is what Emma has to say about her time at Starcast:
“Starcast has a special place in my heart and is the main reason I am where I am today! It was a place I loved to be. Not just because it was where I learnt to dance but because it was where I learnt to love it.
It’s where my childhood dreams began to come to life and was where I learnt that you can get to anywhere in life if you have the right mindset and work hard enough for it!
Starcast teachers are the most amazing teachers you could ever wish to have. They would do anything for anyone and always goes above and beyond.
It was their belief in me which lead me to take the leap and go to a full time further education dance school.
I now have the job of my dreams on board the incredible P&O Azura as a dancer and an Aerialist, and have already at 19 done jobs that I wouldn’t have even believed before Starcast.
In conclusion, it’s not just the dancing, the steps or the notes that make the classes at Starcast priceless, it’s the energy the teachers put in, the life lessons it teaches and confidence it gives everyone to succeed.
It was my inspiration and I would recommend it to anyone”.
I can’t thank them enough!”

“Ever since I joined Starcast nearly 7 years ago, I’ve never felt so comfortable and safe in an educational environment, from playing drama games to wearing a wizards cloak on stage, I have loved every single second of it.
Not only do I feel as though I’ve learned so many skills and techniques that I use in my practices today at university but I also feel as though Starcast has helped me to become a better person.
The staff there are actually incredible, they were always there for me. They weren’t just my teachers but they were my friends.
I just want to thank Starcast for everything that it’s offered me to help me get to this stage – every show we’ve put on has been a blast. I was extremely sad to leave but it was time for me to spread my wings and move on into the big city to pursue what I love. So thank you Starcast, for everything.”

Taylor had trained with us since he was 8 years old!
He attended all the classes he could possibly do which meant he was training with us for around 8 hours every week! Here is what Tay has to say about his Starcast Family:
“Starcast has given me the foundations and technique to be able to improve and correct myself on many occasions at dance college without question! The amount of things I’ve been taught at starcast that have been carried across to Wilkes is surreal but it just shows how good the teachers are! I felt very privileged to be taught by such an amazing school!
Being at Wilkes is such an amazing experience and I am still loving it two terms in!
Starcast has given me so many opportunities such as being in “King and I” the UK tour as one of the children, Panto in Winchester and most recently YMT UK, the UK’s leading musical theatre company for two years in a row!
All the teachers at Starcast have always believed in me and pushed me to go to dance school which is what I’ve always wanted to pursue!
The classes at Starcast are very up to date and current, which has given me a booster at Wilkes to a point where I can feel confident in Dance, Singing and Drama.
Starcast is one of the best if not the best performing arts schools in Wiltshire and i’m so happy to say that i’ve been a small part in the company!”
